It’s one of my favorite snacks and a great way to curb hunger. It’s quick to make and it’s great to offer guests.
What You Need:
1 can of chickpeas
1/4 cup liquid from can of chickpeas
3-5 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons tahini
1/2 tablespoon of crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil
What To Do:
1. Drain the chickpeas
2. Mix all the of the ingredients, except for the olive oil, in a blender or food processor.
3. Blend for about 4 minutes or until it has a creamy consistency.
4. Put into a bowl and create a whole in the middle by using a spoon to push down the mix.
5. Add the olive oil.
6. Serve with pita or carrots.
