Sunday Inspiration

The thing about inspiration is… It is all around U!

This week, The United States of America bid farewell to one of the members of its Royal Americana, Mrs. Nancy Reagan.

Born July 6, 1921 by the name, Anne Frances Robbins, this Hollywood actress known as Nancy Davis, married her sweetheart on March 4, 1952 in a simple ceremony in Studio City, California… Never leaving her husband’s side, Nancy became part of American Political Royalty.

Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States, making Nancy the First Lady of the United States from 1981 to 1989.

The morning of March 6, 2016, the world lost one of its most patriotic citizens, whose love of country and its people exuded her character and heart alike.

I find many of her quotes to be quite inspiring, and in her honor, our Sunday Inspiration comes in her memory.

“To my young friends out there: Life can be great, but not when you can’t see it. So, open your eyes to life: to see it in the vivid colors that God gave us as a precious gift to His children, to enjoy life to the fullest, and to make it count. Say yes to your life.”

-Nancy Reagan

Everything is so poignant about her detailed message to America’s youth in this quote. Who knew life wasn’t that different 30 or so years ago when she penned sayings like this, Right?

She seems to be speaking right to our Millennial Generation.

Open your eyes to life’ she says and she tries to awaken the spirit of America’s youth… ‘Enjoy life to the fullest, and make it count’… Isn’t that the truth, we only get this one chance at life, not only must we take the moment to be the best version of ourselves we can be, but also to wear a smile and love every second of the journey to becoming that person!

So as you go with your evening… Don’t be afraid to stand up tall and be the best version of you, not to please anyone else, be you for you!

Rest in Peace, Mr. & Mrs. Reagan… Your LOVE will stay with us forever.
