Braised Grapes!

It’s Saturday Eve and Family Sunday Dinner is just around the bend… Have you been plotting what dish to prepare?

If you have special guests like the future In-Laws set to attend your dinner, then you have no choice, but to make a gourmet dish… Now on a Y Budget you have to learn to make healthy, 5 Star Dishes on a less expensive budget.

Try braising some grapes and while they are still warm out of the oven you can use them, as a sauce, to pour over Roasted Chicken, Porkchops or even a fillet of fish, like Snapper or Chillean Sea Bass!

L’s Braised Grapes:

Rinse 1 Lb. of Red Seedless Grapes 

Pre-Heat Oven to 400 Degrees

In a mixing bowl, Combine… 

Grapes 

1 Tbsp. Garclic, grated 

3 Tsbp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 

2 Tsbp. Fresh Thyme, Chopped 

1 Tbsp. Fresh Rosemary, Chopped 

A Dash of Salt & Pepper, To Taste 

Mix Well and Place in Oven 

Braise Grapes 20-25 Minutes 

Cool 5 – 10 Minutes before Serving

If you are seeking out a great appetizer to serve pre-dinner, try to make a set of 24 Crostinis… 

Mix….

1 12 Oz. Jar of Ricotta Cheese 

1 Tsp. Truffle Oil (Black or White) 

1 Tbsp. Herbes De Provence 

Smear 1 Tsp. Of Cheese per Crostini, place 2-3 Braised Grapes on top and follow by drizzling Crostini with Honey! 

This will make for a perfect treat for your guests, I promise!
