Mix It Monday: House Party

It’s Mix It Monday …

Before the end of the day we thought we just had to share with you one of our favorite tunes of the week!

It’s July and we are right in the heart of Summer so what would be more appropriate than America’s newest sweetheart Sam Hunt … Born in December of 1984 in Cedartown, Georgia this quite talented high school/college quarterback picked up his first guitar in his early twenties and hasn’t looked back ever since!

Sam Hunt co-wrote Kenny Chesney’s 2012 hit “Come Over”, for which he received an ASCAP award, and wrote two singles released in 2014: Keith Urban’s “Cop Car” and Billy Currington’s “We Are Tonight”… In June of 2015 Sam took home the CMT Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year and now he has the anthem of the Summer “House Party”.

Released by MCANashville in June “House Party” has been hitting the top slots on the charts both in the U.S. and Canada with its addictive chorus and Hunt’s smile and charm guiding the songs riffs, there is no doubt that @TheYLife would be giving ‘House Party’ its stamp of approval!

And just in case you were wondering G & L welcome Sam Hunt at our house parties any day!!!
