Maybe it’s the catalyst of carbohydrates or that warm feeling left behind from the pasta sauce, but if it leaves your belly feeling happy… whatever the reasoning may be, The Y Life LOVES perfect pasta plate you can dish!
Tuesday Turkey Bolognese:
In a large saucepan, heat 3 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sauté….
1/2 Cup Carrots, Chopped
1/4 Cup Celery, Chopped
1 White Onion, Diced
3 Tbsp. Fresh Garlic, Minced
3 Tbsp. Fresh Basil, Chopped
1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley, Chopped
1 Tbsp. Dried Oregano
1 Bay Leaf
1/4 Tsp. Dried Cinnamon Powder
A Dash of Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 Cup Red Wine (Cooking, Table or Drinking)
Kosher Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper, To Taste
Add…
1 Large Can of ‘Cento Tomatoes’, puréed or crushed
Stir and Sizzle for 15 Minutes
In two separate saucepans heat….
Bring 9 Cups of Water to Boil
Add… 1 Pkg. Of Gluten Free Pasta, 1 Tbsp. Kosher Salt & 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
In your other pan, heat:
3 Tsbp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 LB. Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
2 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
A Dash of Azafran
Once Turkey is browned, combine with our sauce and simmer until Pasta is al’dente…. Serve and garnish with Goat Cheese Crumbles and Fresh Basil!
