Well Y’s if you are headed to the market tonight in preparation for a YFoodie weekend… Make sure you pick up some essentials to make this BBQ classic … Shrimpin’ Surprise!
Something so remarkable about these oceanic flavors when they are sealed tight to cook over an open fire with classic french inspired spice assortments; let’s just say, it will leave your tummy satisfied and your taste buds insatiably craving more!
AND the best part about this dish is that it’s as Easy As 1-2-3, slimming on the waistline and you can make it as light on the wallet as you wish.
Lobster N’ Shrimpin’ Surprise:
First and foremost, Arrange 3 sheets of Aluminum Foil, about 15 in. In length on top of one another to form a disposable Aliminum Foil Tray-
Drizzle the homemade tray with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Clean 1 LB. Of Large Pink and/or Jumbo Shrimp, season with Kosher Salt & Pepper
Arrange Shrimps in the center of your tray…
Clean & Halve 2 Lobster Tails, place 1 piece at each corner of your tray –
Thinly Slice 1/2 a White Onion, adorn your seafood
1/4 Cup of Capers
5 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
6 Baby Yellow Heirloom Toamotes, Halved
Zest 1 Lemon and 2 Tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup of White Wine (Pinot Grigio is Perfect)
Top by drizzling, 3 Tbsp. Of Extra Virgin Olive Oil over your surprise
Arrange 2 sheets of Aluminum Foil, about 15 in. In length on top of the Seafood smitten tray to form a disposable Aliminum Foil Tray lid.. Seal tightly compressing all sides of the foil
Place your Foil Tray on the BBQ for 15 to 20 Min on Med/High Heat
Remove the Surprise and allot it 10 minutes time to steap in its natural juices, slice open the lid and step away as it exudes it’s steam!
