It’s not Friday… need I say more? It’s not the best day of the week but it’s a great time to restart.
While it’s hard to get back into the work week sometimes, try to think of it as a chance to change things for a whole new week.
If that does not help, here are some options to help make your day more manageable.
Attempt to plan out your day so it doesn’t seem so overwhelming. If the week ahead is what’s stressing you out, then opt for trying to plan out your week. Even if you take 5 minutes to just list things out , it may help you see each task as less daunting or at least see it as a step by step kind of week or day.
If you’re able to, put on some of your favorite music whether it be low or while using headphones. This will help you get in the zone, making you more productive, and brighten your mood a bit. Who knows you may find yourself swaying a bit while trying to complete that excel sheet for work.
Do Something You Love
Whether it’s taking a five minute break or just grabbing your favorite snack, opt for doing one thing you love. It will help lift your mood and give you some loving!
Look Forward To Something
Take a moment to think about something you are looking forward to like a trip or something this week. Thinking about it may help motivate you to keep you going this week until you get there.
Turn To Your Work Confidant
If you work in a competitive environment, you may not have many work friends which may make you feel a bit lonely. But try talking to a work confidant. This is someone that you may consider more than a work companion. Talk to that person for a couple of minutes maybe joke around. Feeling connected to someone, especially at work, may help you with your day even if it’s for a bit.
While it may not be the best day of the week, it’s a start to something new for you and you are the only one who can change your attitude and make your day better but little things help move you along to the following weekend.
