This Sunday February 1st NBC will televise Super Bowl XLIX from Glendale, Arizona … last year Seattle pummeled Denver and brought in an estimated 111.5 million viewers, becoming the largest TV audience in U.S. history. This year Football has been battling a plague much more severe than that Blizzard that chilled the NorthEast last night… From the Murder trial of Patriots Aaron Hernandez on the verge of commencement, to players battling domestic violence scandals and just last week the Patriots were back on the front page with Deflate-Gate!
Sunday’s game will be played in Glendale, Arizona, featuring the New England Patriots against the defending champs, Seattle Seahawks. According to Data compiled by TiqIQ, Super Bowl tickets were averaging upwards of $6,500 just yesterday, equating to more than an 89% hike from last year at this time.
From Budweiser to GoDaddy and Kim Kardashian West taking on her Selfie critics with TMobile… the other fascinating aspect of Super Bowl are the Spectacular commercials! Advertisers know what’s at stake, with the enormous volume of fans tuning into Sunday’s Bowl and the commercials are bringing their A Game… According to Forbes rumor has it a 30-second spot will set you back a whopping $4.5 million this year and if that weren’t enough $9 MILLION for a one-minute product ad or movie trailer-ing commercial!
