Brine & Bake!

It’s that time tonight and if you have yet to get started, you are looking to have a long night ahead of you!

So get to marinating and brining Y’s!

Y should you Brine and Marinate?
Well technically, you don’t have to, but it the processes of marination, will make your Turkey that much more tender, juicy, and it really allows the flavors of the poultry and seasoning to come together.

This year I decided to try a recipe I saw one of those famous chefs on TV making to Marinate her Turkey in…

1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp. Black Truffle Oil
1 Fx
2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
2 Tbsp. Paprika
3 Tbsp. Sage, Rosemary and Thyme Respectively.

Whisk ingredients together, brush on rinsed and dried Turkey and settle marination in fridge over night!

10-18 Lbs. Unstuffed 3 to 3 1/2 Hours
After the first hour, remove the foil allowing Turkey to finish cooking!

Don’t forget to let your Turkey Settle for about 20 Minutes before serving!
