It’s not your most typical place to go but it is a hidden gem in West Florida. It’s historic, considered a great place for hidden eateries and some plain, good old fun.

What To Do:

Busch Gardens

Hop on to some fast and fun roller coasters at this theme pa rk.  Your fun there can start at 9:30 a.m. and finish by 9:00 p.m. closing time! That’s a full day right there to spend in Tampa. If you’re not into rides, try some of their animal tours or their Serengeti safari.

The Florida Aquarium

Considered one of the top aquariums in the country, it has over 20,000 sea creatures.  It’s a great way to see sea creatures you havens seen and may not see again. It’s great for a date and entertaining. It’s also located in Downtown Tampa so it’s easy to get to .

The Dali Museum
One Dali Blvd
St. Petersburg, FL 33701

This one is great for art lovers. While it may not be in Tampa, it is in the Tampa Bay area and quite close to Downtown Tampa. Stroll through the Dali Museum, through curated collections of Salvador Dali’s work . Once you’re done with that, try some great Spanish food at the cafe inside the museum.  It’s a great visual and tasty experience.

Cigar City Brewery

If you like beer, you might like this. Cigar City Brewery offers tours of the brewery along with a tasting of their beers. For $ 5 you’ll get the tour, a pint of beer, and a pint glass to take home. It’s a different experience and a nice way to find out what type of beers you like.  Tours are Wednesday – Saturday. You can even register for a tour beforehand online by clicking here.

It’s been voted best breakfast in Tampa for 5 years! Some of their most popular dishes include their frittatas, eggs Benedict and their pancake sandwich. You read it correctly… a pancake sandwich.

While we will vouch for it, we can’t guarantee you won’t want to take a nap after their delicious meal! Make sure to stop by the story next to the eatery to get some goodies.

Helpful tip… Go before 10 am or after 12:30 for less wait time.

It’s fresh and unique . Did I mention it was delicious! For dinner, they every offer entertainment like belly dancing and it’s open late.
