5 Things That Little White Pill May Do To You

Have a headache? Take an aspirin. Hit a part of your body and it hurts? Take aspirin. Getting cramps? Take aspiring. Have a fever? Take aspirin.

While it’s okay occasionally this little while pill has some side effects you should know about.

1.While your pain subsides thanks to the aspirin, a wound may take longer to clot.

2. If your child has the flu or chicken pox and you give them aspirin, it increases their risk of getting Reye’s syndrome that’s a potentially deadly disease of the liver and nervous system.

3. Overuse can cause ulcers in the stomach.

4. While it may help with pain somewhere else, it could cause abdominal pain and gastritis which is  inflammation of the stomach.

5. In some cases it can be toxic to the liver.

While this isn’t a post asking you to stop because aspirin does help on certain occasions, it is always good to know what is going into your body. After all, knowledge is power.
