Since Winter seems to have missed the memo that stated the start of Spring… @TheYLife thought what could be better than a good ol’ Apple Sauce recipe that only takes 6 hours on the Slow Cooker and will settle those cold weather blues with its warm bubbling bliss!
I tried it just last night and it turned out sooooo delish… I just couldn’t wait to share it!
Slow Cooker Apple Sauce:
10 Apples (8 Granny Smith, 2 Pink Ladies)
3/4 Cup of Apple Juice
1/4 Cup of Water
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Set Crock- Pot (Slow Cooker) to High for 6 Hours
4 Hours into the cooking process, Mash Apples with a flat mashing head
Depending on the consistency, you may need to ADD extra 1/4 Cup of Water
Fold, Serve Warm & Enjoy!
P.S. Perfect accompaniment to Ice Cold Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
