We’re human, we can’t be healthy all the time but, we try. Even the healthiest of the healthiest people have had their own version of junk food. For those trying hard, here is a little push of the healthiest of the healthiest food on the planet, in other words super food, according to Fitness Magazine.
1. Lemons – One lemon is packed with more vitamin C than you need in a day! It’s also been touted as an anti-carcinogen and anti-inflammatory! Not only is it healthy, but it also has great uses for home cleaning and disinfecting!
2. Broccoli – It is also packed with more Vitamin C than you need in a day. It is also said to help fight off various types of cancer.
3.Chocolate – My favorite! Not only is it tasty and sweet, it’s amazing for your health. In moderation of course. According to the magazine, just 1/4 of an ounce can help control high blood pressure. It’s also packed with antioxidants.
4. Sweet Potato – Yes, a potato made it on the list. Why? Because just one of these has more vitamin A than you need daily to help stave off cancer and boost your immune system.
5.Salmon- You’ve probably heard this before but..it has omega-3 fatty acids . What does that mean? Consumption of this fatty acid has been connected to lower chances of depression, suffering from heart disease and cancer.
