On ‘National Cheesecake Day’ we celebrate the art of the pastry, which is a favorite of most Americans. A staple of the dessert table on most American holidays, this torte has also proved to be quite profitable. My Mama’s famous Cheesecake:
2 – 8oz. Cream Cheeses
1- 8oz. Sour Cream
¾ Cup Sugar
½ Tsp. Vanilla
Take Cream Cheese, Sugar and 3 Eggs and beat in Mixer.
Place content into a glass- baking pan, coated with butter & bake at 350º for 30 Minutes.
Take out of oven and allow Cheesecake to cool for 20 Minutes.
Topping: Mix Sour Cream, Vanilla & 2 Tbsp. Sugar
Cool topping for 20 Minutes and spread over pie and bake at 350º for 10 Minutes.
Take Out & let cool for 30 Minutes, garnish with cherries, cool and serve!
