Can Starbucks get more technology friendly?
Apparently they can!
According to their interview with the Wall Street Journal, the coffee chain is appealing to younger crowds by adding new technology.
The company is installing wireless charging mats in more of it’s cafes as their next big tech move.
They are even touting their recent four million-follower mark on twitter this month.More than 10% percent of their transactions in the United States are now made by phone . Now their Starbuck’s Loyalty cards are growing in popularity with a 30% growth.
The company is also changing some of their menu items to appeal to their loyal customers. New items include the zesty chicken and black bean salad bowls.
Each change has brought a positive for the company…both digital and menu changes have upped their stock value and food sales.
Starbucks says this is only the beginning of changes to come.
