It’s a lesson you learn probably while doing a physical activity at first as a kid- get back up.
My daily jog came in the form of a catalyst to remind me of that lesson today.
Except it wasn’t as eloquent and pretty. It looked more like those slow motion funniest home videos where you see the person slowly suffer as they head to the ground-maybe trying to grasp onto something for dear life but alas not making it.
And then you end up with your face on the gravel/ grass maybe bleeding a bit but suffering more from embarrassment because let’s face it, they’re probably just scrapes.
But it was a jolting reminder – get back up.
Get back up and go harder than you have before. Sulking in the dirt will only prolong the misery.
Might as well just get back up and go.
