We’ve all been told to wear sunscreen to protect us from the sun, but a new study now proves its helps slow down aging.
The study conducted by the Annals of Internal Medicine, shows people who used sunscreen everyday were 24% less likely to show signs of aging.
The study followed more than 900 people for four years. Some were told to reapply after sweating or after a couple of hours. Others were not given instructions on how to apply sunscreen.
The final results? Their words not mine.
According to the study’s lead author Dr. Adele Green,”We now have the scientific evidence to back the long-held assumption about the cosmetic value of sunscreen. Regular sunscreen use by young and mid-aged adults under 55 brings cosmetic benefits and also decreases the risk of skin cancer.”
So put on some sunscreen.
