The GF Oatmeal 411…
I realized this morning that making Gluten Free Oatmeal is so vastly different, from making good’ol regular Gluten filled Oatmeal… I just had to share a few of my tricks for making creamy Oatmeal with @The Y Life!
The GF Oatmeal 411…
Phase 1:
1 Cup of Water, Boiled
Kosher Salt, A Dash
1/2 Cup Bob’s Gluten Free Oatmeal
Allow the Oatmeal to cook in the water for about 12 – 15 minutes. Once it has reduced and all of the water has simmered into the Oatmeal, we are ready for Phase 2!
Phase 2:
1/2 Cup of Coconut Cream
1/2 Cup Water
Cinnamon, A Dash
Lower the heat on the stovetop, as the Cinnamon simmers along with Coconut Cream and Water…
Serve with…
1 Tbsp. Raw Honey
1 Tsp. Earth Ballance Buttery Spread
